Máté is a multilingual lawyer with over 20 years of experience, advising international clients on complex cross-border transactions and regulatory matters. Calm, balanced and highly solution-oriented, he brings structure to large-scale projects and sees matters through with strong business judgement and precise risk management.
His areas of expertise include international real estate and M&A, financing structures, commercial contracts, as well as data protection, e-commerce and regulation. He regularly leads restructuring projects for multinational companies in Hungarian, English and German. As a lawyer at VJT&Partners and Head of the German Desk, he is a steady, reliable support for both clients and the team.
Máté graduated from Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2004, and later obtained a postgraduate LL.M. qualification at Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Hamburg.
Outside work, he has long been a competitive sailor.
He is fluent in English and German.
