Exciting AI business breakfast with VJT&Partners

VJT & Partners - BCCH Business Breakfast 25 February

Hot topic, strategic thinking and an exceptionally engaged audience – this is how we could summarise the second edition of the joint business breakfast organised by the BCCH / British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary and VJT & Partners.

This year, we continued the conversation on the safe use of generative AI: how companies can make the use of artificial intelligence truly controllable and sustainable.

More than 50% of companies on the market still use AI tools without having properly assessed the associated risks or embedded the necessary control mechanisms into their operations. In an accelerated technological environment – with AI use cases and new solutions emerging rapidly – the topic is more relevant than ever.

In a dynamic, dialogue-based format, Andrea Belényi and Endre Várady guided participants through key questions, including:

– When does an HR or recruitment solution become a high-risk AI system?
– How does AI-generated content impact a company’s intellectual property strategy?
– What new cybersecurity risks arise from deepfake attacks and shadow AI usage?
– How should organisations manage internal AI systems with access to corporate infrastructure versus external AI tools?
– What risks emerge in marketing and customer-facing applications?
– And finally: how should companies begin building a structured AI governance framework?

The feedback and the more than two-hour interactive discussion that followed clearly showed that the topic goes far beyond the text of the regulation.

The real question today is no longer whether we use artificial intelligence, but whether we are able to operate it within a clear accountability structure, well-designed safeguards, and continuous oversight.

Thank you to the BCCH / British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary for the cooperation, and to all participants for the inspiring and open discussion.
The conversation continues.
