After years of awards and successes, our data protection team has now had the honour of contributing to the Data Protection and Privacy chapter of the prestigious Lexology publication, Getting the Deal Through 2022, by presenting the data protection situation in Hungary.

This is an honour for us because the contributors to this first-rate publication are from the best law firms in the world. The Hungarian chapter was written by Andrea Belényi, Endre Várady and János Tamás Varga.

The Hungarian chapter describes the application of the GDPR in Hungary and gives an insight into the functioning of the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. In addition to the Hungarian jurisdiction, the publication publishes analyses of data protection practices in more than 150 countries.
