Our German Desk serves as a central point of contact for all inquiries from the DACH countries and supports clients from the German-speaking region in their activities in Hungary and the CEE region.
This includes the establishment of companies, the development of local business structures and production sites, acquisitions and restructurings. Our services focus on market entries, investments and transactions, as well as ongoing advice in corporate, employment and contract law matters.
As part of our German Desk, we provide integrated services in cooperation with our experienced partner advisors in the areas of financial, tax and accounting advisory, as well as bookkeeping.

Máté Kakas
Head of German Desk
Máté advises both domestic and international companies on multinational business law matters, with a focus on transactions, private equity, real estate law and international corporate structures in the CEE region.
He has extensive experience in the legal support of real estate and financing transactions as well as M&A and investment projects of international companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Having lived in Germany for several years, Máté brings not only strong legal expertise but also genuine first-hand insight into the business culture and expectations of German-speaking clients. He has advised numerous international investors, financial institutions and other market participants on complex transactions and strategic matters.
Máté is a member of the Budapest Bar Association and holds an LL.M. in Law & Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Hamburg. He is fluent in Hungarian, German and English.
